Live interface · captured October 2026
01What it does
Launch schedules are scattered across operator pages, press kits and threads. Orbital pulls the whole manifest into one place: what is flying, when, from where, on which vehicle, and whether the booster is expected back. The 3D globe shows the pad and the ground track rather than a wall of text.
02What's inside
- Global launch manifest with status, window, pad and vehicle
- 3D orbital globe with launch sites and trajectories
- Per-company pages with cadence, vehicles and history
- SpaceX dashboard: Starship schedule, booster recovery statistics, Starlink
- Hourly background sync with a sync log and manual trigger
03How it works
The backend is the only thing that talks to Launch Library; the UI only ever reads Postgres. Flyway owns all schema. That split keeps the app fast and keeps a rate limit on the upstream from ever becoming a blank page.
