01What it does
Most fantasy advice is a ranked list with no denominator. Gridiron simulates the rest of your season from your actual roster and your actual league, then prices each decision: start this receiver over that one and your playoff probability moves 3.1 points. Lineup, waiver, drop and watch-list moves all arrive ranked the same way.
02What's inside
- Weekly game plan with per-move deltas on win probability and playoff probability
- Waiver bidding guidance and drop candidates evaluated against your roster, not a generic ranking
- News pipeline that matches RSS and injury-status changes to players, then classifies the impact
- Game-by-game slate breakdown and a report card grading last week’s calls
- Weekly email with one-click unsubscribe; sends are idempotent per user, week and kind
03How it works
A scheduler only enqueues work in Eastern time; workers run it, so scaling is adding workers. Every recommendation comes from 2,000 correlated Monte Carlo draws over player fantasy points — game, script and pass shocks tied together by position — so a 3-point edge is a distribution, not a hunch. The engine is pure functions over player, team and matchup inputs, which makes it testable and replayable. The email prose is generated from a facts blob, and a number guard rejects any figure that is not in the facts — the model writes sentences, not statistics.
